Gemini Team Competition
Staines SC sent a large team of swimmers to Woking for the Gemini Trophy and just missed out on winning the competition.
The main aim of the Gemini competition is to give lots of swimmers a chance to compete, so almost all swimmers were only given 1 or 2 individual events and only a couple of swimmers swam up age groups. Even with this Staines SC strength in depth shone through finishing only 27 points behind hosts Woking.
The performances from the swimmers were outstanding and the atmosphere on poolside was exciting for all involved.
Well done to all those who took part.
