Important - Staines Swimming Club AGM Notice

Notice regarding Staines Swimming Club committee nominations at the forthcoming AGM in June.

Would you like to be involved in the decision making process in YOUR Club or just want to become an active volunteer? Why not put yourself forward for election to the Committee or stand for an Executive position ie Chairman, Secretary or Treasurer.

Our AGM takes place on 20th June 2008, 7pm at the Hockey Club, Worple Road, Staines. It is your chance to find out what has happened at the Club since the last AGM and give your opinion on future plans. One of the important functions of the AGM is to vote on the new committee. Nominations for the Committee need to be with the Secretary by Sunday, 10th May 2008.

The more people who are on the Committee the more efficiently it runs.

There is a form on the Notice Board in Spelthorne Leisure Centre. Please add your details to the form by the 10th May 2008 including your name and that of the 2 members nominating you. You should also indicate if you wish to be put forward for Executive Committee and in which role.

If you are unable to make it to Spelthorne then please email the information to secretary@stainesswimming.org including the persons nominating you and whether you wish to stand for Executive Committee and in which capacity.
