Working with Staines Swimming Club

We are a successful, Premier League swimming club, with Silver Swim 21 accreditation.  We currently have a membership of over 500 swimmers, training in a structured programme, from learn to swim to competitive racing.  Our programme facilitates the needs of all levels of competition, from National to Club standard.  We also have a 'Learn-to-Swim' scheme which is run from our own teaching pool, we take children from 4 years old and take them through to club level.

Job Vacancies

We are always looking for swimming teachers who are highly motivated, creative, enthusiastic, ambitious and are willing to work as part of our very successful team.

    As part of our team you will:

  • Be given full support and mentoring from the Chief Coach and Committee
  • Be encouraged and assisted in your own professional development
  • Be part of a growing and highly successful swimming team
  • Be expected to attend galas and competition with the swimmers, to assist them in their racing
  • Ideally be an ASA Level Two qualified teacher/coach

ASA Swimming Education & Training Course Prospectus

The ASA have recently revised the entire training course prospectus, there are now a huge variety of courses available covering every aspect of teaching and coaching swimming.  Courses of particular interest to Staines Swimming Club are as follows: -
