The Course Leader will be Ralph Shortland to whom applications should be sent to as soon as possible, initially by email soc@middlesexswimming.com so that he can reserve a place and send the ASA application form. The cost for the course is £8 per person and all candidates must be ASA registered prior to submitting an application form. (ASA registrations are always busy so if there is a problem getting ASA membership details prior to the actual course start date, as long as it is confirmed that an application for ASA membership has been sent by the club, then that should be ok)

Main Pool New Swimmer Assessment

We regularly hold assessments for swimmers wishing to join the club. Assessments are held on a regular basis at Spelthorne Leisure Centre. Please email maintrials@stainesswimming.org or phone 07757 896565 with the swimmer’s name, date of birth and two telephone numbers. Evenings are not the best time to call, as coaches are busy at training sessions.

Teaching Scheme

We currently have a small number of spaces in our 2-day teaching scheme ideally suited for children between the ages of 4 and 8. For more information please go to the 'More Information' page of the SSC 'Learn-to-Swim' website. To arrange an assessment, please call Kai on 07914 491442.

Keep Fit or Competitive Swimming for Adults

Staines Swimming Club Masters section is for adults who want to swim to keep fit or to compete.  As long as you are over 18, age doesn't matter, as long as you can swim a few lengths, technique doesn't matter, you don't even have to swim all 4 strokes.  It's a great way to keep fit and a great way to make new friends.
