Welcome to our new web site!
We are still migrating all pages from the previous web site to this one, mainly the secure areas. In the mean time, please bear we with us while you have a 'mixed' experience.
Staines Swimming Club strives to promote swimming in the borough of Spelthorne and surrounding area. With the aim of providing its members with a structured programme, we strive to ensure that they fulfil their potential whatever their ability.

Affected sessions due to Club Championships
Due to the Club Champs on Sunday 22nd January the following sessions will be cancelled:
- P1 and P2 Training - You should all be booked in for the 400m. If not and you want to, you can turn up and sign in as a time trial (TT £2.50 to enter).
- Development 1 and 2 - You are welcome to swim the 400m Free, just turn up and sign in as a time trial (TT £2.50 to enter).
- Pre Squad
AT squads will swim on Sunday as per notice below:
- Advanced Teaching 3 (Tue), 6-7pm Sunbury
- Advanced Teaching 3 (Wed), 6-7pm Sunbury
- Advanced Teaching 2 (Wed), 6-7pm Sunbury
- Advanced Teaching 2 (Tue), 7-8pm Sunbury
- Advanced Teaching 1, 7-8pm Sunbury
All other training as per normal.

On behalf of Fern and myself, we would like to say a big ‘Thank you’ to everyone that volunteered (you know who you are!) to help your club’s Presentation evening come together - before, during and after!
We also want to say an extra big ‘Thank you’ to Karen Butler and also Jackie Fryer, Jackie Dickens and our parents, you all were a massive support.
We hope you all enjoyed it and had a really ‘Fun’ night!

Sammy Eldridge
Dear Club Members,
It is with great sadness that I inform you club coach Sammy Eldridge has lost her battle with cancer passing away this morning. Sammy was an integral part of the coaching team at Staines Swimming Club and a very close friend to many of us. She will be very sorely missed and our thoughts go to her family at this very difficult time.

The dates for the Middlesex BAGCAT & Youth Championships have been updated according to the latest information. The upcoming competitions page has been updated accordingly. Also note that preeliminar Qualifying Times have been published.
